Thailand – Day 2
Quite an eclectic mix of styles at the Summer Palace this morning. There’s a strong European influence in the landscape architecture, you can see why it’s such a beautiful location. The Thai pavilion though in the middle of the lake really is the focal point to the whole setting.
The visit to Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand enabled us to see the historic ruins, this was a completely different experience, much more rugged and earthy, more my cup of tea!
